G’day and welcome – I’m George… an Aussie entrepreneur and founder of NetBizSecrets.com.

I grew up in Australia, but I was actually born in Hong Kong – home to martial arts legend Bruce Lee (and his deep life philosophies) and the king of action comedy, Jackie Chan. People there tend to be naturally entrepreneurial, so maybe a bit of that rubbed off on me.

My family moved to Australia in the 70s, landing in Sydney on a Qantas 747. I’ve called this lucky country home ever since.

From Cardboard Book Covers to Bestselling Author

I still remember the pride I felt when I wrote my first book in primary school – Tim the Policeman. The school librarian loved it, mostly because I turned a bit of fruit box cardboard into a hardcover. That little spark stuck with me.

Hooked on Computers, Marketing, and Possibility

My love affair with tech started in the 80s – flipping through Tandy and Atari brochures, writing a game on a computer with 8K of RAM, and dreaming about what was possible.

I still have some of those brochures, including (possibly) the original Apple “1984” Superbowl ad booklet – mint condition. Fast forward to today, and I’m still chasing that perfect mix of technology and marketing.

The “Why” That Kept Me Going

Success doesn’t come with a free pass. In the early days, I left everything I knew and moved to Singapore during a recession, just to find work. It was tough – homesick, low on cash, and far from home.

But I had a reason: I wanted to save up to get married. That goal pulled me through the hard times.

Whatever your goal is – business, career, relationships, sports – your why matters. It’s the thing that keeps you going when everything else says “quit.”

A Life of Lessons (and Jobs!)

I’ve been lucky. And I believe a fulfilling life comes down to two things: good health and a solid work ethic.

I’ve done a bit of everything – foot courier, market fruit seller, stadium flagpole erector, English teacher in Taiwan, jewelry salesperson, real estate agent, mortgage broker (my first business), and more. Even Jerry Lewis’ Hardly Working had a strange influence on me.

These jobs taught me a lot. But one thing stuck out – too many people are unhappy at work. They’re stressed, frustrated, overwhelmed. It affects their sleep, their family, even their health. They want out, but they don’t know how.

That’s why I built NetBizSecrets.com.

Why I Created This Site

This site is about giving people a way out. A smarter path to earn online, work on their own terms, and live life with more time, money, and peace of mind.

I want to share everything I’ve learned – the good, the bad, and the profitable – so you can build a better life for yourself and your family.
